Our Company Wants to Give Back
I've been a utility operator at High for I'd say probably 15 years of the 20 I've been here. I perform many tasks as a utility operator. Different positions of welding, different areas. I run cranes, forklift, pretty much wherever I'm needed to go.
The company has always treated me well.
At the end of some of the large projects, we'll have a celebration. They'll usually give us a tee shirt or a little commemorative jacket, or we have had meals like at the end of the New Tappan Zee Bridge project and things like that.
Currently, we've been getting out more and doing things in the community to help raise awareness and give back a little bit. I feel the company just has an urge to want to give back to the community.
If somebody was thinking about beginning a career here I definitely encourage it.
