Information Systems (IS)

High has invested in its technology infrastructure and remains committed to providing support to all business units through leading information systems. A recent example was the successful implementation of SAP, an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system which resulted in the integration of purchasing, finance, manufacturing and logistics functions across the company. Working closely with internal customers, IS plays a critical part in setting the future direction of High as it seeks computing solutions to increase efficiency, reduce costs, grow revenue and improve our products and services. We need people who can help us fully leverage technology to differentiate ourselves from our competitors.

Engineering and Project Management

This is a program for entry-level engineers providing industrial engineering, civil engineering and construction management majors with the experience and training to prepare for a successful transition from academia to industry. Those hired will work with experienced engineers and project managers at either High Concrete Group, High Construction, or High Steel Structures, depending upon areas of interest and academic focus.

As a new engineer or project manager at High, you will be assigned a mentor, have a customized orientation plan designed to orient you to the company, product and customer and a specialized training plan which may include rotational project assignments such areas as:

  • Estimating
  • Field operations
  • Sales
  • Design engineering
  • Continuous improvement
  • Contract management
  • Quality control
  • Manufacturing operations


 Accounting and Finance

High's Finance department works directly with various business units and corporate services to help the company meet its financial responsibilities. These responsibilities include supporting sustained profitable growth, managing costs, forecasting accuracy and capital management, as well as maintaining a strong financial control environment.
